In 2020 I’ll be celebrating 10years of working for Tesco. During this time, I’ve had a chance to work in a wide variety of positions across the People team, each of them providing me with a different opportunity to learn and develop. In my current roles as a People partner, I am in daily touch with our core teams, such as Marketing, Logistics or Product, to support them with their HR needs. I really enjoy being able to interact with such a wide group of people, across different functions, where no two days are ever the same!
As a mum of two small children, I value the opportunity which Tesco gave me during parental leave, to continue working for a few hours per week and be involved in different projects. The business has been extremely supportive and enabled me to organise my time according to my family needs, whilst working flexibly from home. For me as a mother, flexibility is one of the most important benefits which an employer can offer its colleagues. I really like what Tesco stands for as a Brand as well. The innovation and pride behind the development of own brand Finest products, and our F+F clothing range, really showcases the passion, talents and energy of our colleagues.
