I joined Tesco 21 years ago as head of the chemical-cosmetics department. Since then, I have been holding managerial positions, currently working as a Store Manager in Mezőkövesd. In the last two decades, I have received many opportunities and encouragements from the company and my managers to develop myself, expand my knowledge and skills, and to be able to show what I am capable of in different positions. These included several store jobs and a central office job, thanks to which I was able to get a full view of the store’s operations. For me, the most important thing has always been to create a positive atmosphere among my co-workers as a leader, based on mutual acceptance. In the meantime, I have become a mother who has faced new trials, but with the support of my leaders I am able to maintain the right balance between work and private life. As a single mother, I can stand up to the challenging operation of the store, and thanks to my casual work schedule, I don’t miss important events affecting my child either. In fact, Tesco has accompanied me throughout my life so far, I grew up here, and I’m proud of that to this day.
